This is the yellow version of this Milkweed. We grew them and they completely amazed us with how fast they grew and how sturdy the plants were! They are perennial plants in zones 8-11, however, being in zone 4/5 we decided to try growing them as an annual as often stated they can be. It's true! With an early start, these plants started blooming in summer, and continued blooming even through light frosts. The plants have great form, making nice clumps and strong supportive stems. Buds are deep pink, and flowers open red with yellow accents. An excellent tropical color look!
