Plumeria rubra <br>PLUMERIA YELLOW

Showy and fragrant flowers that bloom in clusters. Plumeria is widely cultivated around the world for its ornamental value, where suitably warm climate exists. In colder temperate areas P. rubra must be grown indoors as it does not tolerate temperatures below 10 C (50 F). However it may be placed outside in a sheltered sunny spot during the summer months.

Plumeria tolerate a wide variety of soils, from acid to alkaline and sandy to clay. These plants grow best in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun and will bloom throughout most of the year in tropical areas. It is a small tree, growing 3.0-4.6 m (10-15 ft) tall.

These beautiful plants are remarkably easy to grow from their large seeds! We've included an image of some of our seedlings at less than 1 year old!
